An interesting question.  Honey is sold by weight and not liquid measure.  Since honey is denser and weighs more than water 1 lb of honey (16 oz net wt) will only be around 11 fluid oz.  Whereas a lb of water (16 oz net wt) will actually measure at about 16 fluid oz.  Science, go figure, yes you can figure the amount of honey that you will get by weight.

ONE FLUID OUNCE OF HONEY EQUALS APPROXIMATELY 1.5 NET WEIGHT OUNCES

So, if you have one pound of honey you have approximately 10.7 fluid ounces of honey.    16 oz net wt / 1.5 = 10.6666667 fluid ounces of honey
